Website of the Week

Overbooked: a resource for readers bills itself as “a resource for ravenous and omnivorous readers.” This site is chock full of reviews and lists for book lovers, including lists by genre, subject, literary styles, and places. The “If You Like…” lists are especially helpful for finding new authors.  Librarian Ann Chambers Theis created Overbooked and continues to volunteer her time to maintain the website.

Thanks to the Internet, researching your family tree is easier than ever. Although you can’t find everything online–many census records and newspapers are available only through microfilm–a great deal of genealogy research can be conducted from your home or library computer.
